Jose Luis Miranda estudió arquitectura y urbanismo en la Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú. Cuenta con más de diez años de experiencia participando en la conceptualización y diseño de proyectos residenciales. En el 2017 inicia su propia práctica de arquitectura.
Entre sus proyectos más representativos se encuentran el edificio Vanderghen para el desarrollador inmobiliario Danielson, Lord Cochrane I para Lateral Inmobiliaria, y Lord Cochrane II y Boulevard Roosevelt para CC17 Gestora Inmobiliaria, todos ubicados en los distritos tradicionales de Miraflores y San Isidro. Actualmente, José Luis se encuentra diseñando dos nuevos edificios: Carlos Graña en el distrito de San Isidro y Playa Norte en el balneario de Punta Hermosa.
Su principal motivación está en la importancia del concepto arquitectónico y la coherencia del edificio con su entorno, siempre estudiando la dicotomía entre cómo es el estar adentro así como el estar afuera en relación al paisaje urbano y natural. El diseño contemporáneo de Jose Luis rescata los valores de la arquitectura moderna sin perder la visión a futuro. Su proceso precisamente busca una arquitectura capaz de mantenerse vigente en el tiempo a partir de su estructura y materialidad.

Jose Luis Miranda studied architecture and city planning at the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru. He has over ten years of experience conceptualizing and designing real estate projects. In 2017 Jose Luis starts his own architecture firm.
Among his most representative projects are Vanderghen for developer Danielson, Lord Cochrane I for Lateral Inmobiliaria, and Lord Cochrane II and Roosevelt Blvd. for CC17 Gestora Inmobiliaria, all of them located in the traditional San Isidro and Miraflores neighborhoods in Lima, Peru. At the moment, Jose Luis is designing two new buildings: Carlos Graña in San Isidro district and Playa Norte in Punta Hermosa beach, also in Lima, Perú.
His practice’s primary motivation is both the concept idea and purposeful architecture that is coherent with its surroundings, permanently studying the dichotomy between the indoor experience and the building’s position within the urban and natural landscape. Jose Luis’ thoughtful and contemporary design, values modern architecture while at the same time keeping an eye on the future. His process involves special attention to structure and materiality, creating projects made to stand the test of time.
